David Kristensen

I play all kinds of synthesizers, both digital and analog, though preferring the analog ones.
I’ve always listened to lots of different musical genres since I was a kid, and apart from electronically realized classical, I make “harder” electronic music. I was introduced to the music of Wendy Carlos at the age of approximately 14, and she whetted my appetite for classical music, so I studied music composition and theory for two years with a conservatory teacher familiar with the works of W. Carlos.
As a self-taught keyboard instrument player, I’ve familiarized myself with real-time improvising and performing continuo parts for maximum authenticity. When possible, I use authentic tunings (e.g Werckmeister III well-tempered for Baroque music).
